Waiting

Requests originate in your browser; results are not uploaded. Some endpoints use brand CDNs or APIs. A response does not verify full service availability.

READ YOUR CONNECTION

Check the response. Then compare latency.

A website connectivity check helps investigate the path from your current browser to a target. Repeated tests of the same endpoint are more useful than one isolated low number.

01

Use your current route

The check starts automatically through the direct, proxy or VPN route your browser currently uses. No remote testing server is involved.

02

Take three samples

Each site receives 3 small requests. The median uses response timings only; individual failures and partial responses stay visible.

03

Switch and compare

Download a report, change networks or proxy settings, then retest all sites or one group. Compare the same endpoints and response counts.

WHEN TO USE IT

Find a better route for browser workflows.

  • Check whether local and international sites follow the proxy routing you expect.
  • Compare Wi-Fi, mobile hotspots or different VPN exit routes.
  • Open this page in your local browser and your cloud browser to compare their connections.
  • Investigate endpoint responses before running web scraping or AI agent workflows.

Connectivity test FAQ

Is this the same as an online ping test?

This tool measures browser HTTPS response times to probe endpoints, not command-line ICMP ping. Timing can include DNS, TLS, proxy routing, connection reuse, server processing and browser scheduling. It is a website latency and connectivity check, not a download or upload speed test.

How can I compare proxy or VPN routing?

Finish a test on your current connection and download its report. Switch your proxy, VPN, Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot and run again. Compare the same site's response count and median. Groups classify sites, not the physical location of responding servers; a CDN may respond nearby.

How is the median latency calculated?

Each site receives 3 sequential lightweight requests. Successful response times are sorted and the middle value is used; with two responses, their average is used. Failures never count as 0ms. One or two responses are marked partial so you can inspect each round before comparing.

Why can I open a website when this check fails?

Browser security policies, privacy extensions, corporate networks, target-site restrictions or a changed probe endpoint can block cross-site requests. A timeout means a round did not finish within 5 seconds; it does not prove an outage or blocking. Open the site directly and compare on another connection.

Does a response from ChatGPT, Claude or Google mean the service works?

Not necessarily. Each test checks a selected favicon or lightweight endpoint, sometimes on the brand's CDN or API domain. Cross-origin responses may be opaque, so a response does not confirm HTTP 200, sign-in access, regional eligibility or full application availability.

Are results uploaded, and how much traffic is used?

Requests run directly in your browser. AdsCrawl does not proxy the probes or upload test results. A full run makes at most 144 lightweight requests without site credentials; destinations still see your exit IP and standard request information. Keep the tab in the foreground for more consistent timing, or stop at any time.
